Expect
Expect to encounter difficulties in your life as a Christian but stand fast as God is with you. And when God is with you what can be against you. There will be situations beyond our control but remember God is with you. When we see problems arise and come at us, cry out to God and allow Him to fight for you. Watch as He works on your behalf. As a Christian, do not let the world tell you what to but instead depend on God for the guidance you desperately need. When God is with you, nothing can be against you.

Talk to God
Do not only seek God in the quiet of the morning but rather consistently throughout the day. God is a good good father that is always there to listen. We have a lot of distractions in our days but do not let them distract you from God. Instead, talk to your Father God about everything and watch the miracles He can and will do for you. Do not let anything or anyone interrupt your communication with God and when things go "wrong" do not think of them as punishment or that you are being punish. Instead of thinking of them being negative, view the difficulties as blessings. God loves you so much so pour out your heart to Him. He is a good good Father.
