Today's Devotion 9 July 2017

Stop Worrying

Our minds shuttle back and forth weaving webs of anxious confusion, fear and uncertainty. When we focus on those emotions and thoughts we lose sight of God's voice and only hear white noise. Stop worrying and sit quietly in God's presence. Let God's love overcome your thinking and let God renew your soul and mind. Give your worries to God and just enjoy your time with God. God loves us so much to take our worries from us. God is great and he wants us to be the best that we can everyday. God is there to help quite our thoughts so we can focus on Him. With Him, all is possible.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will." - Romans 12:2
