Today's Devotion 27 Sept 2017
Relax with God

Relax in God's everlasting and ever loving arms. When you trust in God and seek God, you will grow strong in awareness of His Almighty Presence. When you energy fails, do not seek the world but rather God and rejoice in His radiant riches that available to you. Go gently through this day and lean on God while enjoying His Presence. Thank God for the wonderful gifts of this world and seek Him so that you may relax in His arms. God will never abandon you nor forsake you. He is a God of love and forgiveness. Seek Him always.

"Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens." - Psalm 68:19

"I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." -Psalm 16:8

The Power of the Cross

On Good Friday, we reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ — the day when God’s plan for redemption reached its most painful yet triumphant moment. Jesus bore the weight of our sins, enduring unimaginable suffering so that we could have eternal life.

Isaiah 53:5 reminds us: “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds, we are healed.”

Good Friday is not just a commemoration of Christ’s death; it’s a celebration of the love that made it possible. It’s a reminder that our Savior willingly endured the cross for each of us.
