Today's Devotion 26 Sept 2017
Listen

Come and listen to God. Attune yourself to God's voice and marvel in the wonder that you can talk to God to anytime and anywhere. God is accessible to everyone everywhere. While God will listen to anytime you need Him or want Him, we need to start listening to Him. God talks to us through a variety of ways and all we have to do is sit and listen. We live in a time where we can talk to God about anything. God loves all of us and He is our constant Companion.

This truth inspires us at Faith Defines Us to live boldly in our faith. Because Jesus lives, we are called to walk in His victory, share His love, and be a light to the world. Easter is a reminder that no matter how dark the circumstances, God’s power and promises are greater.

The Power of the Cross

On Good Friday, we reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ — the day when God’s plan for redemption reached its most painful yet triumphant moment. Jesus bore the weight of our sins, enduring unimaginable suffering so that we could have eternal life.

Isaiah 53:5 reminds us: “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds, we are healed.”

Good Friday is not just a commemoration of Christ’s death; it’s a celebration of the love that made it possible. It’s a reminder that our Savior willingly endured the cross for each of us.
