Today's Devotion 25 Sept 2017: Refuse to Worry

Today's Devotion 25 Sept 2017
Refuse to Worry

Trust God and refuse to worry because He is our strength and song. Don't worry about what the day will bring you. Instead leave your worries and rely on God. He is and will always be your strength and He will empower you to handle every task that comes your way. We spend too much time worry about all the things we cannot change and very little time of giving those worries to God. He is the God of love and strength. He will take your worries from you if you let Him. Let His light shine down on you as your worries leave and His Presence surrounds you. Walk hand in hand with God each day so that you can refuse to worry.

"The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father's God, and I will exalt Him." - Exodus 15:2

What the Resurrection Means for Us

This truth inspires us at Faith Defines Us to live boldly in our faith. Because Jesus lives, we are called to walk in His victory, share His love, and be a light to the world. Easter is a reminder that no matter how dark the circumstances, God’s power and promises are greater.

The Power of the Cross

On Good Friday, we reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ — the day when God’s plan for redemption reached its most painful yet triumphant moment. Jesus bore the weight of our sins, enduring unimaginable suffering so that we could have eternal life.

Isaiah 53:5 reminds us: “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds, we are healed.”

Good Friday is not just a commemoration of Christ’s death; it’s a celebration of the love that made it possible. It’s a reminder that our Savior willingly endured the cross for each of us.
