Today's Devotion 12 Sept 2017
Rejoice in God always.
Rejoice in God always. No matter what is going on or happening in your life, you can always rejoice in God's awesome love. This one small and simple thing will make you content. Too many people fantasize about future happiness and they can miss out on God's love and blessing. Fantasizing is only a fantasy and you can miss all the love God has shown you. Be in the moment with God and rejoice in His everlasting Love. Bring your moments to God and let Him fill them up with joy.
"But You remain the same, and Your years will never end."
- Psalm 102:27
"Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, The Lord, is the Rock eternal." - Isaiah 26:4

The resurrection of Jesus signifies new life, not just for Him but for all who believe in Him. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
This truth inspires us at Faith Defines Us to live boldly in our faith. Because Jesus lives, we are called to walk in His victory, share His love, and be a light to the world. Easter is a reminder that no matter how dark the circumstances, God’s power and promises are greater.

The Power of the Cross
On Good Friday, we reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ — the day when God’s plan for redemption reached its most painful yet triumphant moment. Jesus bore the weight of our sins, enduring unimaginable suffering so that we could have eternal life.
Isaiah 53:5 reminds us: “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds, we are healed.”
Good Friday is not just a commemoration of Christ’s death; it’s a celebration of the love that made it possible. It’s a reminder that our Savior willingly endured the cross for each of us.
