Today's Devotion 11 July 2017

Worship God

Today there are too many distractions that can take our attention away from God. Too many people turn to "worship" money, possessions, people or status. This takes us away from God's glory and lead us to never being satisfied and only stirs up lust for more and more. This world is temporary and God's glory is eternal. Let us turn to God and walk in His light. When we walk in God's Light we become a beacon to draw more people to God. Set apart some time each day to worship God for He is great and good.

"You are my lamp,O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light." - 2 Samuel 22:29

"You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace." -Isaiah 55:12
